Brock's Big Birthday Gift

Brock and Evie opened their gifts from us today.  Brock got the drum set and Evie got the motorcycle (we posted pictures of that a few weeks ago).  They loved opening all their gifts!  We are so thankful to God for two healthy, happy children!

Morning Devotional

Every morning after breakfast I read a Bible story and do a page in a little devotional book with Brock and Evie.  Today the devotional talked about putting your hope in God and having your sins forgiven.  Then the activity part of the devotional was to write your name in the space if you have asked Jesus to be your Savior.  At this point, I handed the book to Brock and let him finish it while I washed Evie's hands & face.  When I picked it up a few minutes later, I saw Brock had written this all by himself.

Translation:  Brock has asked Jesus into his heart. 

Thank you, Lord!

Evie's First Haircut

Evie got her first haircut on Friday!  I have never even taken a little clipping of her hair; I've just let it grow these past 3 years.  I thought it was time to even out her length now.  Evie was very serious during the haircut but talked about it for the rest of the day and couldn't wait to show Daddy and all our neighbors. :)
