Welcome, Evie Marie!

Evie Marie Godfrey was born on September 17th. She was 6 lbs, 12 oz and 19 inches long.
We are praising God for a wonderful, healthy, and beautiful baby as well as for a great labor and delivery. God is so gracious and merciful.
We are LOVING our new addition!

Brock is turning 2!

Our precious baby Brock is going to be turning 2 on Friday! What pure joy it has been to have him for these past two years. We praise God constantly for allowing us to have a son. He is such a treasure.

Brock loves anything with wheels -- tractors, Hot Wheels, motorcycles, semis -- he has all of these around the house and never tires of them. He repeats everything we say -- we love hearing his little voice and seeing his excited eyes when he spots something fun. Brock is very, very excited about the baby coming and is always showing something to the baby, kissing the baby, talking to the baby, and hugging the baby (through my stomach, of course!).

We'll keep you posted on our next little treasure. She and Brock will have close birthdays!

We take a walk with Nanny and Papa every morning. When we reach the dirt road, Brock gets to run instead of ride in the stroller. He loves racing Papa!

Brock is 1 1/2!

Today Brock is 18 months old! Where did the time go?! We have loved every day of being parents...our Brock is a huge blessing and joy to us. Thank you, Lord, for him!

Have you done your homework on the Presidential Candidates?

Here's why "I like Mike"...

1. He is a genuine Christian -- he looks to our Almighty God for wisdom when making decisions, not just to the experts and analysts whose judgment can be faulty. He has an Authority higher than himself to answer to.

2. He is 100% pro-life and has never wavered on the subject. (Wouldn't it be awesome to see abortion outlawed in our life time?! Can you believe we live in a country that kills millions of precious, innocent babies each year? Repulsive.)

3. No matter who is listening, he never backs away from his values, even if they are "politically incorrect".

4. He will always protect & defend Israel and considers it one of our best allies.

5. He supports the Fair Tax -- no more income tax. No longer will people be penalized for making more money. Taxes will now be on what we purchase.

6. He believes in traditional marriage -- 1 man + 1 woman.

For these reasons and many more, I support Mike Huckabee.

If you haven't registered to vote, do it! It is your duty and privilege to be involved.

CHALLENGE: I challenge all of you who have blogs or email lists to use them to get the word out about Mike Huckabee -- you won't find a candidate who holds stronger to our Christian faith.
